Taylor Jenkins has finalized his staff.

The NBA offseason is drawing to a rapid close and while there are a few roster spots in question for the Milwaukee Bucks to address before the season gets into full swing, head coach Taylor Jenkins at least has finalized his coaching staff to lead the freshly rebuilt Bucks to ideally more success than they experienced in their 11th-place finish last season.

Per a report from HoopsHype, Jenkins will be bringing Darvin Ham back as an assistant coach for the third straight season and bringing in Pat St. Andrews, Vince Legarza, Brad Jones, Johnny Carpenter, T.J. Ford and Schuyler Rimmer joining Ham as assistant coaches as well.

Jenkins will bring back Jack Herum for his third-straight season in Milwaukee as an assistant coach and player development specialist and Isaiah Wilkins will be brought in as an assistant coach/-layer development specialist as well while Nshan Kenjoian has been appointed as head video coordinator.

Looking At Jenkins' Staff

It's natural for any new head coach to overhaul the coaching room that they'll be overseeing, even more so for a head coach being brought in to an organization that itself is in a major state of change as the Bucks are, but Jenkins is maintaining some continuity in both Ham and Herum.

Jenkins has also trended toward reuniting with several of his former assistant coaches from his time as head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies from 2019-25, where he finished his time with a 250-214 record and three playoff appearances.

Carpenter, Jones and St. Andrews both worked with Jenkins in Memphis, though for St. Andrews working in Milwaukee is something of a homecoming as he spent five seasons, the bulk of his career, as an assistant coach for the Bucks.

Mixing Coaching and Playing Experience

This will be Ford's first foray into coaching, but he does have a wealth of experience on the court after playing eight seasons in the NBA from 2003-12, including playing his first two seasons with the Bucks.

Wilkins hasn't coached at the NBA level before, but he has been an assistant coach in the NCAA, first for Virginia from 2021, then for Cal during the 2025-26 season.

Kenjoian is also a former Jenkins staffer, serving as his head video coordinator from 2025-25, so Jenkins will clearly have a lot of familiarity with most of his staff.

This upcoming season won't be the highest pressure situation that Jenkins and his staff could face, but it will still be a critical time for the staff to focus on developing Milwaukee's prospective young stars like Ryan Rollins, Brayden Burries and Nate Ament, as well as developing chemistry with the team as a whole with so many new additions to the squad.

It won't be an easy task, but with his now-completed staff behind him, Jenkins looks like the man who's up for the task.
