Senior Jonah Coleman's status for Saturday's game against Purdue is in question

The Washington Huskies football team saw its College Football Playoff hopes come to an end in a 13-10 loss against the Wisconsin Badgers on Nov. 8.

The Huskies entered the game No. 23 in the CFP rankings. The Badgers were unranked and hadn't won a game against a Big Ten opponent since last season.

The defeat dropped Washington out of the Associated Press (AP) Top 25 poll, and the team didn't receive a vote.

The Huskies will look to bounce back in a game against Purdue at 4 p.m. PT on Nov. 15 at Husky Stadium in Seattle.

And Washington could be without one of its best players for that showdown against the Boilermakers.

Senior running back Jonah Coleman was held out for most of the game against Wisconsin with a knee injury. He ran the ball five times for two yards.

According to a report on "X" from Aaron Coe of Emerald City Spectrum, Huskies coach Jedd Fisch said Coleman May be able to play Saturday. He's day-to-day and questionable with his knee injury.

Coleman has been one of the most effective players for Washington this season. He's ran 131 times for 645 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's caught another 29 passes for 335  yards and two touchdowns.

Coleman has won the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award twice this season. Several NFL Draft analysts have projected him as the second-best running back available in the 2026 Draft.

Including the upcoming game against Purdue, the Huskies have three more games left in the regular season. They'll play UCLA on Nov. 22 in Los Angeles and No. 7 Oregon on Nov. 29 at Husky Stadium in Seattle. Kickoff times for the games against UCLA and Oregon are still to-be-determined.
