Joe Brady is the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills. With a new leader at the top, that means a, mostly, new coaching staff will be working with the players in 2026.
It's been less than a week since Brady was hired, but the team has wasted no time in filling out the coaching staff as the offseason gets underway.
On Saturday, the Bills announced the three coordinators hired to coach alongside Brady.
From a first-time NFL coordinator to long-time veteran coaches, it seems like the Bills want to surround Brady with a mix of young and established coaches. To that end, it might be hard to track everyone who's been reported or officially announced for the staff.
So, we decided to put together a tracker to keep you up to date on all of the hirings for Buffalo's staff. Below you'll find a list of names along with whether or not they have been officially confirmed by the team or just reported by various sources.
Head Coach: Joe Brady - Confirmed
The 21st head coach in franchise history, Joe Brady was hired after spending the last two-and-a-half years as Buffalo's offensive coordinator. He was one of nine candidates who interviewed for the open position.
Offensive Coordinator: Pete Carmichael Jr. - Confirmed
Pete Carmichael Jr. is a veteran offensive coordinator who comes over from the Denver Broncos. Carmichael Jr. is most known for his 15 years as offensive coordinator in New Orleans. During that time with the Saints, both Carmichael Jr. and Brady were on Sean Payton's staff from 2017-18.
Defense Coordinator: Jim Leonhard - Confirmed
One of the most coveted assistant coaches available, Jim Leonhard is a first-time defensive coordinator. Prior to taking the job with Buffalo, he was the defensive passing game coordinator for Denver.
Special Teams Coordinator: Jeff Rodgers - Confirmed
After surviving two head coaching changes as special teams coordinator with the Arizona Cardinals, Jeff Rodgers leaves the desert to join the Bills in the same role. His unit in Arizona was the first to return a kickoff for a touchdown with the new dynamic kickoff rules. Coincidentally enough, that kickoff return came against Buffalo in Week 1 of the 2024 season.
Offensive Line Coach: Pat Meyer - Reported
Pat Meyer joins the Bills after spending the last four seasons as the offensive line coach in Pittsburgh. He replaces the retired Aaron Kromer.
Training Staff: Strength and Conditioning Coach Will Greenberg, Director of Performance and Innovation Joe Collins, and Head Athletic Trainer Nate Breske will return for 2026 - Confirmed.
