The Indianapolis Colts have removed Daniel Jones' injury designation for Sunday vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, and Charvarius Ward Sr. has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — It's been a busy past 72 hours of Indianapolis Colts injury news ahead of their matchup on Sunday with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, as of Friday afternoon, head coach Shane Steichen has given some clarity.

Quarterback Daniel Jones was added to the injury report as a limited participant on Thursday with a calf injury. On Friday, he practiced fully, and Steichen announced that, upon further inspection, it's a fibula injury, but that Jones is cleared to play on Sunday.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr., who has missed the last five games due to a concussion, has cleared the NFL's protocol after returning to practice this week and fully participating. He's expected to be activated from Injured Reserve so that he can play against the Chiefs.

Linebacker Jaylon Carlies, who also is on IR due to an ankle injury, practiced fully this week but is not quite ready to play. He's been out all season so far.

Defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin) is the only other player with an injury designation. He's been out for a month with his injury and is questionable for Sunday.

Here is how both teams' health is shaping up ahead of Sunday afternoon's matchup.

QUESTIONABLE — G Kingsley Suamataia (concussion), WR Xavier Worthy (ankle)

OUT — RB Isiah Pacheco (knee)

The Chiefs' offense is a bit banged up at the moment, as each of Pacheco, Suamataia, and Worthy is a starter. Pacheco has already been ruled out, which should give Kareem Hunt the biggest workload, but Suamataia and Worthy have both increased their workload throughout the week and carry the "questionable" designation.

The Colts and Chiefs face off on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The game can be viewed on CBS.
