The Eredivisie leaders dismantled Utrecht with a ruthless six-goal blitz, featuring a long-range Sven Mijnans strike and a record-breaking creative cameo from teenage sensation Amir Bouhamdi.
PSV thrashed FC Utrecht 6-1, proving their title credentials once again while serving a scintillating display of their ruthless attacking prowess.
Ruben van Bommel scored the equaliser for PSV after Artem Stepanov gave a surprising lead to the home side. Gus Till scored a brace, while Mauro Junior, Sergino Dest, and Sven Mijnans also found the net.
Mijnans, prior to scoring, squandered an opportunity to increase the lead from the penalty spot; however, he made amends soon afterwards, scoring a mesmerising goal from outside the box.
Ruben van Bommel, since joining PSV, has scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 800 minutes and looks to be in stellar form following his return to the squad after recovering from an ACL injury last season.
Amir Bouhamdi (18 years and 74 days) became the youngest PSV player with two assists in an Eredivisie game this century. He entered the pitch in the 78th minute, and despite the limited time available, he created more chances than any player (4).
