Romano reported: "EXCL: Lutsharel Geertruida to PSV Eindhoven, deal now agreed in principle with RB Leipzig. Offer accepted and loan deal with buy option clause for the defender. Green light for medical tests and contract signing."

Geertruida is set to arrive initially on loan, but PSV will have the opportunity to make the move permanent.
Romano subsequently revealed that the buy option in the agreement is worth €15 million.
"Understand the buy option clause for Lutsharel Geertruida at PSV Eindhoven will be worth €15m," Romano reported.
The structure of the deal allows PSV to strengthen Peter Bosz's defence immediately without committing to a permanent transfer from the outset.
Geertruida has been a priority target for PSV throughout the summer, with the club seeking additional defensive experience following a difficult start to the campaign.
The 26-year-old is familiar with Dutch football after his development and breakthrough at Feyenoord, where he established himself as a versatile defender before earning international recognition with the Netherlands.

The agreement now leaves Geertruida on the verge of completing his return to the Eredivisie.
The medical examination is the next major step before the defender can formally sign his PSV contract. Once those formalities are completed, Bosz will have another experienced option capable of operating across the defensive line.
For PSV, the agreement finally brings an end to weeks of uncertainty surrounding their pursuit of Geertruida.
The initial loan, combined with a €15 million buy option, gives the Eindhoven club the chance to assess the defender during the season before deciding whether to make his stay permanent.
