The international break has provided plenty of action for PSV’s internationals, with Mauro Júnior making his Brazil debut, Dennis Man finding the net for Romania and several other players featuring for their respective countries.

Brazil drew 1-1 with Australia in the first of two friendly matches, with Mauro Júnior coming off the bench in the 76th minute to make his senior international debut.

The PSV player won a corner shortly after entering the field, from which Brazil eventually found their equaliser.

The Netherlands defeated Serbia 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday. Ruben van Bommel entered in the 16th minute after Cody Gakpo was forced off with an injury.

Guus Til was introduced in the 66th minute and made a decisive contribution. The PSV midfielder provided the assist for Mexx Meerdink, who scored the winning goal to make it 2-1.

Dennis Man scored Romania’s equaliser against Sweden on Friday. However, Romania conceded again before half-time and eventually suffered a 2-1 defeat.

Ivan Perišić played the full 90 minutes as Croatia beat the Czech Republic 2-1. The PSV winger registered an assist in the victory.

Paul Wanner also started for Austria against Kosovo on Sunday, helping his country to a 3-1 win.

Filip Kostić came off the bench in the 70th minute for Serbia against the Netherlands, who secured a 2-1 victory.

Esmir Bajraktarević played the full match as Bosnia and Herzegovina drew 0-0 with Poland.

Ayoni Santos came on in the 86th minute for Cape Verde against Mali in an African Championship qualifier.

At the youth level, PSV U21 defender Kyano Penso made his Curaçao debut in a 6-1 win over Nicaragua, providing an assist. Armando Obispo remained an unused substitute.

Noah Fernandez came on in the 78th minute as Belgium U21 beat Belarus 1-0 and secured qualification for the European Championship.

Fabian Merién started for Netherlands U19 in a 1-1 draw with Belgium U19.
