A disastrous afternoon at Stamford Bridge left Bournemouth searching for answers after a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Chelsea. Cherries still remain winless in the Premier League and it's fair to say not many players covered themselves in glory this weekend.

A trip to Stamford Bridge offered Bournemouth another opportunity to kick start their Premier League campaign, but instead, the Cherries endured an afternoon they will want to forget in a hurry. A dismal 5-1 defeat against Chelsea exposed familiar defensive frailties, a lack of cohesion and an alarming inability to compete from the off. With the wait for a first league victory continuing, the pressure is mounting on Marco Rose and his players to find answers quickly.

Djordje Petrovic

The Serbian was certainly not to blame for the conceding of five goals on the day. He will be concerned though that despite his heroics in Spain he's struggling to keep them out in the Premier League. 4/10

Adam Smith

A tough afternoon for the club legend who is forever fighting but found it difficult to get to grips with Chelsea's vibrant attack. 4/10

James Hill

An uncharacteristically poor display from Hill at the back for the Cherries. He managed to win a few duels but really struggled in possession and got exposed a number of times. 3/10

Antonio Silva

A real afternoon to forget for Antonio. The Portuguese international has been a breath of fresh air since his arrival in the summer, but he was all at sea in this one. 1/10

Adrien Truffert

Following an impressive international break with France the left back didn't look himself in this well, often caught out of position and struggling to impact the game going forward. 3/10

Tyler Adams

The American skipper looked off it throughout as the Cherries kept getting overrun in that midfield area. 3/10

Ryan Christie

Can never knock Ryan's endeavour but nothing really came off for him on the day, as he looks to fight for more minutes following Alex Scott's injury. 4/10

David Brooks

Surprisingly brought back into the starting eleven after withdrawing from international duty with Wales, Brooksy really found it difficult before being substituted at the break. 1/10

Marcus Tavernier

A normally reliable and consistent performer, Tav was another who had an afternoon to forget. Failed to retain possession on many occasions and made a few silly fouls to go with it. 2/10

Evanilson

The Brazilian was asked to play that bit deeper in this one and was the only Cherries starter who could leave with his head held high. Not much more Evanilson could do, often winning the ball backs and winning his duels, he deserved to bundle in Bournemouth's solitary goal. 7/10

Rayan

Playing through the middle offered Rayan a chance to show its a viable option going forward, but he failed to deliver much of note. Had a chance he should have done better with, but once again the Brazilian flattered to deceive. 3/10

Ben Gannon-Doak (Half Time Sub)

Many Bournemouth fans are desperate to see more of the Scottish winger, and you can see why on his second half showing. Direct and willing to run at his opposing full back, surely its time Ben gets some minutes and fast. 7/10
