“Well, no is the answer we are being told. My understanding is that Liverpool will not go into the market to sign a player for the next 4-6 weeks. They’re just gonna have to ride through the storm and then wait for their players to come back and then they will be at full strength at the back.”
The club are understood to have no plans to enter the market for defensive reinforcements over the next four to six weeks, instead opting to rely on the players already available while waiting for injured stars to recover.
It suggests Liverpool remain confident their defensive issues are only short-term and that the current situation does not require an emergency signing.
