The Huskies have company as they chase another national title.

Brady Farkas on the UConn women's basketball team and its 17-0 record.

The University of Connecticut women's basketball team remained unbeaten on Sunday afternoon, walloping Creighton to move to 17-0. The Huskies are chasing their second consecutive national championship and their 12th overall, and they look well-positioned to get it.

But the Huskies aren't the only team in the nation yet to suffer a blemish on their record.

As was noted by On3's Talia Goodman, the Huskies are joined by Texas Tech and Vanderbilt in that group.

About Texas Tech

Ranked No. 17 in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 poll (1/5), the Red Raiders are now 18-0 overall and 5-0 inside the Big 12.

And they aren't just feasting on a soft schedule, either. Texas Tech has already beaten SMU of the ACC by 31 and Arkansas of the SEC by 12. They also toppled Mississippi State and Washington State in the non-conference before beating No. 15 Baylor inside conference action.

About Vanderbilt

Ranked No. 7 in the most recent poll, the Commodores are 17-0 and 4-0 inside the SEC right now. They took an early season trip to Paris, France, toppling Cal of the ACC and they also have wins over Oregon State, BYU, Virginia, and Arkansas. Of course, the crowning achievement is a 65-61 win over LSU on Jan. 4. The Tigers were ranked 12th in that last poll.

About UConn

The Huskies have already won eight Big East games, and they've taken on all challengers outside the conference as well. They earned standout wins over Michigan, who got as high as No. 6 in the polls, as well as No. 20 Louisville, Ohio State, No. 16 Southern Cal and No. 11 Iowa.

They still have marquee matchups with Notre Dame and Tennessee to come. Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong represent arguably the best 1-2 punch in the nation, and freshman Blanca Quinonez is also making history in her first year in Storrs.

The No. 4-ranked UConn men's basketball team is now 16-1 overall and 6-0 inside league play. They've won 12 consecutive games and will be back in action on Tuesday night against rival Seton Hall. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Beyond basketball, the UConn football team continues to navigate the transfer portal, adding multiple skill position players over the weekend, including dynamic receiver Ky "Flash" Wilson.
