Another Shakeup At The Top Of The Barrel Racing World Standings

The top of the barrel racing world standings has changed again, with Hayle Gibson-Stillwell back in the No. 1 position with $186,076.88 in season earnings. After briefly giving up the lead to Carlee Otero, Gibson-Stillwell has regained the top spot by just $220.39, setting up another close race between the two cowgirls as the 2026 regular season nears its conclusion.

Otero sits No. 2 with $185,856.49, while Emily Beisel stayed firmly in the No. 3 position with $182,131.69. With less than $4,000 separating the top three, it’s truly anyone’s game for a Gold Buckle.

Kassie Mowry remains fourth with $166,951.84 after competing at just 24 rodeos so far this season. Hailey Kinsel follows close behind at No. 5 with $166,081.12, keeping her within striking distance of Mowry.

Sydney Graham holds No. 6 with $149,908.58, followed by Michelle Alley at No. 7 with $143,334.39 and Tayla Moeykens at No. 8 with $133,584.27.

The biggest late-season movement comes from Kathy Grimes, who has moved into the No. 9 position with $121,863.04. Following a strong stretch that included a record-breaking run at the Cassia County Fair & Rodeo and a winning run at last weekend’s Walla Walla Frontier Days, Grimes continues to climb the world standings at a rapid rate.

Tricia Aldridge has also continued her climb, moving to No. 10 with $115,698.89. Aldridge has put together an impressive run with Adios Pantalones following the horse’s return from injury, including a recent win at the Magic Valley Stampede.

LaTricia Duke sits No. 11 with $113,087.95, followed by Megan McLeod-Sprague at No. 12 with $112,361.05. Lisa Lockhart has also moved up the standings, now sitting No. 13 with $111,905.84. The longtime NFR qualifier remains within reach of the cowgirls ahead of her, while Makenzie Mayes holds No. 14 with $107,196.05 and Katelyn Scott rounds out the Top 15 with $105,824.53.
