PSV Eindhoven are pushing to sign Lutsharel Geertruida from RB Leipzig, but competition is growing. Premier League, La Liga and Saudi Arabian clubs have all expressed interest in the Netherlands international.
PSV Eindhoven face increasing competition in their pursuit of Lutsharel Geertruida, with clubs from England, Spain and Saudi Arabia now monitoring the RB Leipzig defender.
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Philipp Hinze, several clubs have registered interest in the Dutchman, while Leipzig are prepared to consider a permanent transfer for around €20 million.
A loan has not been completely ruled out, but Leipzig currently favour a permanent departure.

PSV have been interested in Geertruida for some time, with Peter Bosz looking to strengthen his defence.
The 25-year-old reportedly already has a personal agreement with PSV, according to Eindhovens Dagblad. The major obstacle remains the structure and value of the proposed transfer.
Leipzig are understood to be seeking around €18 million, while PSV have so far been reluctant to meet that valuation. The Eindhoven club are currently more open to a loan arrangement, having invested heavily in several players in recent transfer windows.
That creates a clear difference in position between the two clubs.
PSV would prefer to bring Geertruida in temporarily, while Leipzig's preference is to sell.
Premier League And La Liga Interest
The situation has become more complicated with competition arriving from abroad.
Hinze reports that clubs from the Premier League and La Liga, as well as teams from Saudi Arabia, have expressed interest in Geertruida. The identities of those clubs have not been disclosed.
The Dutch defender spent last season on loan at Sunderland in the Premier League after joining Leipzig from Feyenoord.
Although Geertruida's performances improved as the campaign progressed, Sunderland ultimately did not make the move permanent.
Now Leipzig are prepared to listen to offers for the Netherlands international, with a permanent transfer valued at around €20 million as their preferred outcome.

Despite Leipzig's preference for a sale, a loan remains possible depending on the timing and conditions of any proposal.
That could keep PSV in the race, especially given their current reluctance to make another major permanent investment in defence.
Geertruida's versatility is one of his key qualities. The former Feyenoord player can operate at centre-back or right-back and has experience in different defensive systems, making him an attractive option for Bosz's squad.
For now, PSV remain interested, but the competition is growing. With the transfer window approaching its final stages, the coming weeks could determine whether Geertruida returns to the Netherlands or becomes the subject of another move abroad.
