Seven different scorers ignited a ruthless second-half blitz at the Philips Stadion, as PSV dismantled the visitors with relentless pressure and clinical finishing from the bench.
PSV Eindhoven delivered a ruthless performance against Willem II, scoring seven times to secure an emphatic 7-0 victory in the Eredivisie.
Peter Bosz’s side took control early at the Philips Stadion, although they had to wait until the 20th minute to break the deadlock. Mauro Júnior opened the scoring with a right-footed finish from the centre of the box, putting PSV in front after a sustained spell of pressure.
Willem II struggled to contain the hosts, who continued to create opportunities through their movement and attacking combinations. Guus Til came close before the break, while Sven Mijnans also tested goalkeeper Maxime Delanghe with a header.
The pressure eventually told in the 44th minute. Following a corner, Armando Obispo kept the attack alive and provided the assist for Til, who finished from close range to double PSV’s advantage just before half-time.

Mijnans made it 3-0 five minutes after the restart, receiving a pass from Sergiño Dest before finding the top-right corner with a left-footed effort from the left side of the penalty area.
PSV were now firmly in control, and their fourth goal arrived in the 53rd minute. This time, Mijnans turned provider, delivering a cross from a corner that Ruben van Bommel converted with a close-range header.
Bosz made changes as the match progressed, introducing Ricardo Pepi and Noah Fernandez in the 60th minute. The substitutions did little to slow PSV's attacking momentum.
Willem II briefly threatened a response when Uriel van Aalst struck the crossbar in the 68th minute. Nathan Tjoe-A-On also forced a save from PSV goalkeeper Matej Kovár, but those opportunities proved to be rare moments of encouragement for the visitors.

Four minutes later, Kodai Sano added a sixth, finishing from the centre of the box after being set up by Pepi. The Japanese midfielder's goal underlined PSV's ability to find different routes to the net.
There was still time for another. Shuryjano Cornecion, introduced for Til in the 78th minute, completed the scoring in the 81st minute with a right-footed finish from a difficult angle on the right, sending the ball into the bottom-left corner.
Willem II had no answer to PSV's attacking quality, and the final whistle confirmed a comprehensive 7-0 victory.
For Bosz, the performance offered a convincing demonstration of his side's attacking depth. Goals came from Mauro Júnior, Til, Mijnans, Van Bommel, Pepi, Sano and Cornecion, while the substitutes played a significant role in extending the margin.
PSV finished the contest with seven goals and another emphatic Eredivisie result, having turned a two-goal half-time lead into a commanding statement after the break. Up next for PSV is a mouthwatering clash against Club Brugge in the Champions League at home on 4th November.
