PSV have turned down interest from Werder Bremen for Kiliann Sildillia, with another German club also monitoring the defender.

The Eindhoven side remain confident in the right-back and are unwilling to sanction a loan move.

PSV have rejected an approach from Werder Bremen for Kiliann Sildillia, with the Bundesliga club seeking to take the 24-year-old right-back on loan.

According to PSV watcher Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad, another German club has also shown interest in the defender, but PSV's position remains clear. The Dutch champions do not want to let Sildillia leave on a temporary deal.

The Frenchman continues to have a strong reputation in Germany after several impressive seasons with Freiburg between 2022 and 2025. His performances there established him as a versatile and dependable defender, and he also enjoyed a strong spell at PSV towards the end of last season.

His start to the current campaign has been less convincing, but that has not altered PSV's assessment of his value to the squad.

Interest in Sildillia has been reported across German football media, with Werder Bremen among the clubs exploring a possible move. However, their preference for a loan does not fit PSV's plans.

Werder, meanwhile, do not currently appear likely to make a permanent bid. With PSV unwilling to consider a loan, Sildillia therefore looks set to remain in Eindhoven.

The defender's situation also comes as PSV continue to work on their squad during the closing stages of the transfer window. Despite the interest from Germany, the club remain confident that Sildillia can be a valuable member of Peter Bosz's squad.

Away from Sildillia, PSV are also working on a potential move for FC Twente striker Sam Lammers.

The Eindhoven club have been exploring a deal for the 29-year-old in recent days, although it remains unclear whether those discussions will result in an agreement.

Lammers was left out of Twente's squad for Thursday's Europa Conference League qualifier because of physical issues. Head coach John van den Brom confirmed before the match that he was aware of PSV's interest.

A transfer would reportedly require PSV to pay Twente a fee of a few million euros. However, PSV currently have no intention of doing so.

With the club still looking to reshape its attacking options before the window closes, the coming days could prove decisive for both Lammers and the wider PSV squad.
