Amir Bouhamdi is closing in on a new PSV contract until 2031, with Juventus, Barcelona and Paris FC among the clubs to have shown interest in the talented winger. PSV have made it clear that the youngster is not for sale.

PSV Eindhoven are close to securing the long-term future of Amir Bouhamdi, with the talented winger on the verge of extending his contract with the club until mid-2031.

The 18-year-old has made a strong impression during preparations for the new season and has also benefited from the departure of Couhaib Driouech, creating a clearer pathway into Peter Bosz's first-team plans.

According to Eindhovens Dagblad as relayed by PSV Inside, Bouhamdi has attracted interest from several clubs recently, including Juventus, FC Barcelona and Paris FC. However, PSV have made it clear that they are not considering a sale.

PSV Make Their Position Clear

The interest is understood to extend beyond those three clubs, with several other sides also having Bouhamdi on their shortlist. Their identities have not been disclosed.

PSV's stance, however, is clear. The Eindhoven club have significant confidence in the young attacker and see him as an important part of their plans.

Bouhamdi is currently the only academy talent remaining in Peter Bosz's senior squad, following the departures and movements of other young players.

His performances during the summer have strengthened his position, while Driouech's exit has further increased the opportunities available to him on the left side of PSV's attack.

Bouhamdi Chooses To Stay

Despite interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, Bouhamdi has consciously opted to remain in Eindhoven and continue his development with PSV's first team.

The regional newspaper reports that the youngster is pleased with the opportunities he has received during the summer and wants to continue working towards establishing himself under Bosz.

“For now, the destination is simply PSV for Bouhamdi. He is happy with the opportunities he got this summer,” ED reported.

The proposed contract extension through mid-2031 would underline PSV's confidence in Bouhamdi and their determination to protect one of the club's emerging attacking talents.

With his future increasingly settled, Bouhamdi can now focus on turning his promising summer into a sustained role in the PSV first team.

Driouech's PSV Spell Coming To An End

Couhaib Driouech is closing in on a move from PSV Eindhoven to Rangers after successfully passing his medical examination with the Scottish club.

According to transfer journalist Mounir Boualin, the 24-year-old forward completed his medical on Wednesday, bringing the transfer another step closer to completion.

Only the final contractual details remain to be settled. Once those formalities are completed, Driouech is expected to sign a contract with Rangers that will run until 2030.

The Moroccan international is also set to attend Rangers' upcoming match against Jagiellonia Białystok with his entourage, giving him an early opportunity to experience his prospective new surroundings.

Spanish side Celta de Vigo had also shown interest in Driouech and attempted to challenge Rangers for his signature. Ultimately, Rangers convinced the player to join them in Glasgow by presenting a sporting project and a role they envisaged for him.
