The Giallorossi dismissed a flurry of high-profile offers, thwarting the Dutch giants and Tottenham Hotspur in their pursuit of the highly rated 2009-born midfielder currently dominating youth levels.

PSV have reportedly seen a concrete offer for AS Roma wonderkid Davide Di Mascio rejected, with the Italian club also turning down approaches from Tottenham Hotspur and Genoa.

PSV have made a serious attempt to bring one of Italy's promising young talents to Eindhoven, but AS Roma have quickly rejected the potential transfer.

According to Italian transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, PSV were among three clubs to make an important offer for Davide Di Mascio, with Tottenham Hotspur and Genoa also attempting to secure the teenager.

Roma, however, rejected all three approaches.

Schira reported on social media platform X: “Excl. - AS Roma have turned down three important bids from PSV, Tottenham and Genoa for the young talent Davide Di Mascio (born in 2009).”

The development highlights PSV's continued interest in identifying high-potential players at an early stage. The Eindhoven club clearly sees a future in Di Mascio, who is regarded as one of the notable talents within Roma's youth setup.

Di Mascio, despite being only 17, has already attracted attention both in Italy and abroad. His performances at youth level have helped to establish his reputation as a player with significant potential.

PSV were prepared to make a concrete move for the midfielder, but Roma's response was unequivocal. The Dutch club's proposal was rejected, just as Tottenham and Genoa were also unable to convince the Serie A side to part with the youngster.

For PSV, the failed approach represents a setback in their attempt to add another promising young player to their development structure.

The Eindhoven club has built a reputation for giving talented players a pathway towards first-team football while also competing in the Champions League and Eredivisie.

For now, however, Di Mascio remains an AS Roma player.

Schira's report indicates that PSV, Tottenham and Genoa all showed concrete interest, but Roma have made it clear that they are not prepared to sanction the highly rated teenager's departure at this stage.

With three clubs already making approaches, Di Mascio's development is likely to remain closely monitored across Europe.
