The Packers kick off their 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 13, from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Talk about pressure. The Vikings are certainly in a transitional place as a franchise, but getting going against an NFC North foe ratchets up the intensity of this season from the get-go.
It's a big season for the Packers. There's a belief that they're in a Super Bowl window right now, which means every single game is important. That means the intensity will be there in Week 2 at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets and it will certainly be there in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons, when the Packers will play at Lambeau Field for the first time in 2026.
There's going to be a lot of proverbial ink spilled on this 2026 season and we here at PackersRoundtable hope that you spend as much time as possible with us talking about the ins and outs and ups and downs of the Packers.

At No. 16, we have offensive tackle Jordan Morgan

Jordan Morgan is going to be the Packers' starting left tackle in 2026. That's not just one of the most important positions on the team, but it's one of the most important positions in all of sports.
Morgan will be charged with protecting quarterback Jordan Love's blindside, which means he holds one of the keys to the Packers' success, or lack thereof, this season.
He's a very important player on this team. The only reason he isn't ranked any higher than No. 16 is that he comes with a lot of question marks.
The pedigree is there. He started 22 games for the Arizona Wildcats in his final two seasons with the program, and he was a first-team All-Pac-12 left tackle.
The Packers selected him in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but for some reason, they tried to shoehorn him into guard. To be fair, it was what they needed at the time because Rasheed Walker had become a nice left tackle for them.
It's a bit crazy, though, that a player who excelled at left tackle in college has started 10 of his 13 career starts at either left or right guard. Two were at right tackle in place of an injured Zach Bako-Bewele, and only one start has been at left tackle. That was in the "throwaway" final game of the season last year against the Minneota Vikings.
So yes, the Packers' new franchise left tackle has just one career start at left tackle heading into 2026, and that's a bit scary.
Morgan believes that's where he belongs, though, and clearly, finally, so do the Packers.
2025 Synopsis:
Morgan played 358 snaps at right guard, 191 snaps at left guard, 148 snaps at right tackle and 51 snaps at left tackle in 2025, per PFF. He allowed four sacks, two quarterback hits and 24 total pressures while being dinged for five penalties.

Projected Role in 2026:
Morgan is this team's starting left tackle unless he struggles or gets injured. Hopefully neither of those two scenarios arise.
